Government of India, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold combined higher secondary level (CHSL 10+2 ) examination , 2019 -2020 scheduled to be held on 16 th march to 2020. The SSC CHSL 2019 Examination for recruitment posts of postal Assistants/ Sorting Assitants, Data Enntry Operator (DEO) and Lower Divisional Clerks (LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) in Different ministries / Departments / official of the Government of india. The SSC CHSL 10+2 Exam 2019 online application scheduled to be close on 10 th January 2020.

The SSC will hold the combined higher, secondary level 10 +2 Examination, 2019 in computer based mode for recruitment to the posts of lower division clerk (LDC) Junior Secretariat Assiastant (JSA) , Postal Assistant (PA) , Sorting Assistant (SA), Data Entry Operator (DEO) , Data Entry operator grade :A: in different ministerial Department / officers of Government of inida and their Attched and Subordinate Offices tentatively during the period from 16.03.2020. to 27.03.2020.(Tier 1^st.)

Age limit:-

              18 to 27 years as on 1^st January 2020 , “Candidates born not before 02/01/1993 and not later than 01/01/2002. The Upper Age limit relaxation – 5 years of SC/ ST and 3 years of OBC ,plus 10 years for PWD for others as per Govt. Rules.

Minimum Educational Qualification (As on 01/08/2019):-

For LDC/JSA/PA/SA/DEO	Candidates must have passed matric with 12th pass equivalent examination board
For DEO in the office of comptroller and Auditor General of india (C & AG)	12 th pass with Science and Math.

Selection Process:-

                       The examination will consist of a computer based written examination (Tier 1^st ) , Descriptive paper (Tier 2^nd ) Typing Test / skill test ( Tier 3^rd ) Examination for the post of Data Entry Operator , Postal Assistant & Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) and lower division clerk.

Tier 1^st Computer based examination (Objective type):-

Tier 2^nd Paper:-

 Descriptive Paper will be a descriptive paper of 100 marks in pen and paper mode .  The duration of the paper would be for one hour (20 minute compensatory time will also be provided to the candidates.) . This paper has been introduced to assess the writing skills of the candidates which is necessary in Government jobs. The paper would comprise writing of an Essay of 200 – 250 words and Letter/ Application of approximately 150 -200 words. The minimum qualifying marks in Tier 2^nd would be 33 per cent. The performance in Tier 2^nd would be included for preparing merit. The paper will  have to be written either in Hindi or in English. Part paper written in Hindi and part in English will not be evaluated.

Tier 3^rd Examination. :-

              Tier 3^rd of the Examination would be the skill test/Typing which would be of qualifying nature. Skill test/ Typing test would be in consonance with the provisions. The final merit of the successful candidates would be determined on the basis of total score obtained by them in Tier 1^st and Tier 2^nd .

Skill Test for Data Entrt Operator:-                                                      *  Data Entry Speed of 8000 (eight thousand) key Depressions per hour on computer.

* For post of Data Entry Operator in the office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C& AG)  a speed test of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour for data entry work to be ascertained thorugh speed test on computer.

Application Fee:-

Candidates belonging to OBC and UR ( General ) Candidates are required to pay application fee of Rs. 100/- The fee exempted for all women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, Physically Handicapped and exserivicemen.
